Born From a Place of Deep Knowing
Haven of Her Own was created as a sacred response to the silent weight carried by Black eldest daughters. Many of us have lived entire lives as the caretakers, the fixers, and the strong ones. Often this was done without any dedicated space to rest, reflect, or simply be.
This community emerged from a deep, shared longing for true softness, collective healing, and truth. It is a digital sanctuary where the eldest daughter archetype is not just understood, but honored. Here, being truly seen is not a luxury; it is a given.
The Story Behind Haven of Her Own
A SACRED SPACE TO RESTORE, REFLECT AND RECLAIM.
Haven of Her Own was born in Costa Rica, as I sat in a circle of Black women where love and support were being offered freely. And yet, several of us hung back.
We were the last to name our desires.
The first to affirm someone else’s dreams.
The last to voice our pain.
The first to pass the tissue.
Over and over again, we fell back when it was time to be served—and stepped forward when it was time to serve.

That moment made it plain:
Who is the eldest daughter when she’s not serving others?
When does she get to be the one tended to?
We’ve been taking care of others for as long as we’ve known ourselves.
Often, we don’t know anything but doing what needs to be done.
We silence our own needs.
We choose careers and relationships that reinforce the belief that we are only valuable if we are useful.
We are problem-solvers.
Solution-finders.
Professional fixers.
We are STRONG.
But where are the spaces where we can be soft?
Where we can be held?
Where we can be seen—not for what we do, but simply for who we are?
Haven of Her Own is that space.
It’s not therapy. (Though there’s a link for that)
It’s not just a support group.
It’s a sacred container for restoration, reflection, and reclamation—from one eldest daughter to another.
This space was created on purpose, with intention, and with you in mind.
This is the space where you don’t have to be useful to be worthy.
This is the space where you get to just be.
This is where you receive the love and care you’ve spent your life giving to others.

A 90-DAY SANCTUARY FOR BLACK ELDEST DAUGHTERS
The Immersive Experience
This Isn’t Your Regular, Ordinary Program—It’s a Homecoming
I designed this immersive experience with you in mind.
This is a journey that begins with naming how being an eldest daughter shaped your identity, patterns, and belief systems—and culminates in centering your needs in ways that rarely, if ever, have been prioritized.
Each week, you’ll be invited to make yourself a priority—without needing to take care of someone else first.
This is not a space that demands more from you.
It’s a space that gives back to you.
A Sacred Invitation to Be Held
The magic of this space is found in the women who gather here:
leaders, helpers, fixers, and solution-makers who speak each other’s language.
You will be challenged—but not in the way you’re used to.
You’ll be challenged to not have all the answers.
To let go of the need to be “on.”
To be supported instead of being the one doing the supporting.
The 90-Day Eldest Daughter Immersive offers more than guidance.
It offers language for what you’ve been carrying and the community you didn’t know you needed.
Together, we’re not just healing—we’re unlearning, rebuilding, and rising.
